Eva

Eva underwent basic training as a Mine Detection Dog between September 2018 and February 2019. Though she was never deployed to the field, her training placed her among the ranks of those prepared to protect and serve in life-saving missions. Her presence was part of the backbone of safety.

In May 2019, Eva joined the Home of Heroes family after being donated before full accreditation. Since then, she has lived a peaceful life surrounded by kindness and care, a quiet soul whose story whispers the importance of every life touched by the mission.

She may not have cleared land, but she helps in other ways: in training with handlers, participating in educational sessions and spreading the awareness about the demining and service dogs in the world. She is, and always will be, one of our heroes.
