He officially retired in 2022, and joined Home of Heroes in 2022, where he now lives in peace and safety under the care of our founder, Yulia Khouri, who became his official guardian in July 2024.
Bayon is strong and quietly observant, with confidence and joy in every day. Whether napping in the sun or standing watch by the fence, there’s something noble about the way he moves, a reminder of the years he spent focused on protecting others.
